1. Scope
These Terms of Service govern the use of the Zeitweise platform (hereinafter “Platform” or “Service”), operated by Zeitweise (hereinafter “Provider”).
By registering, you accept these terms.
2. Description of service
Zeitweise is a web-based platform for:
- Time tracking and timesheets
- Absence management
- Project management and expense tracking
- Reporting and compliance
The available features depend on the selected subscription plan.
3. Registration and account
- A valid email address is required for registration.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
- One account per person is permitted.
- Access may be suspended in case of suspected abuse.
4. Trial period
- New organisations receive a free trial period of 90 days.
- A paid subscription is required after the trial period.
- All features are available during the trial.
5. Pricing and payment
- Current prices are listed on the website under “Pricing”.
- Billing is monthly, per seat (employee).
- Payments are processed via Stripe.
- Price changes are announced 30 days in advance.
6. Term and termination
- Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.
- Cancellation is available via account settings or by email to .
- Access remains active until the end of the paid period.
- Data can be exported via the export function before cancellation.
7. Availability
- The Provider aims for 99.5% uptime per month.
- Planned maintenance is announced in advance.
- Brief outages due to force majeure, network issues, or necessary security updates are excluded.
8. Data protection
The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
9. User obligations
- No misuse of the service
- No overloading of the infrastructure (e.g. automated mass queries)
- Compliance with applicable laws when entering data
- Immediate reporting of security incidents
10. Liability
- The Provider is not liable for damages caused by incorrect data entry by the user.
- Liability for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
- Liability for slight negligence is excluded unless essential contractual obligations are breached.
11. Intellectual property
- All rights to the Platform, including design, code, and documentation, belong to the Provider.
- Users receive a simple, non-transferable right of use for the duration of their subscription.
- Data entered by users remains the property of the user.
12. Changes to terms
- The Provider may amend these terms at any time.
- Changes are announced 30 days before taking effect via email or in-app notification.
- Users have a right of extraordinary termination in case of objection.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
- Swiss law applies.
- The place of jurisdiction is the Provider’s registered office in Switzerland.
- Mandatory provisions of the consumer’s country of residence remain unaffected.
14. Severability
If any provision of these terms is invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
