Can I structure matters and clients separately?
Yes. Zeitweise distinguishes between client and matter. One client can have multiple concurrent matters. Hours, budgets and reports can be analysed at both levels.
How secure is our data?
Zeitweise is open source and offers hosting in Germany and Switzerland. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Client data is fully isolated between firms – no data mixing. Regular backups, compliant with nDSG/FADP and GDPR.
How does the handoff to Bexio for invoicing work?
Zeitweise creates an invoice draft with all time line items. Via the Bexio integration, this is created directly as a draft invoice in Bexio – including client assignment and service descriptions. You review, adjust if needed and send.
What happens after the trial period?
After 90 days you can switch to a paid plan (from CHF 12/user/month). All recorded hours, matters and reports are fully preserved. No data loss, no starting over.
